"Speaking from experience, our company bought a 45ft SeaPen about 6 years ago. We are in a high growth area. We were early adopters and have made a few upgrades as the product has evolved. It works well and we're glad we bought it. It is up the Gordon River in Naples and has withstood Hurricane Ian, Helene, and Milton with no damage to the pen or boats in it. We have the exterior tubes cleaned by a diver every so often but don't touch the bladder. Bladder was expected to last 5 to 7 years and it has been around 6. We have done one small patch because one of our guys trimmed a motor down with the gate int he up position and punctured it. We maintain it and it works great. We use it to display new boats that we don't want to bottom paint. There are other similar looking inflatable products out there but they are not built nearly as well and will fall."

While many docking systems require seasonal removal or winterization, the SeaPen remained in place and fully functional all winter long. Even through freezing temperatures, strong winds, and icy conditions, it didn’t crack, degrade, or show signs of wear. The pump system kept the water level inside the pen under control, and there was never any ice buildup inside the SeaPen. Something that would really take the product to the next level is if you could incorporate an optional de-icing bubbler to the frame. Overall the SeaPen has been a truly resilient, low-maintenance docking solution that stands strong through all seasons, SeaPen is the way to go. Highly recommended!"
